About Me

Hello, I'm Kelly - a licensed, regulated and very qualified acupuncturist based in Sunderland.  I specialise in fertility, women's health, and the anxiety and overwhelm that often come with trying to conceive.

 

I fell in love with Acupuncture after some health problems forced me to seek out complementary medicine.  Like most people, before I'd even tried it, I'd labelled it as 'a load of rubbish' when a friend suggested it.  It turned out to be the only real thing that helped my health and became life changing for me.

In 2020 I completed and obtained a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the country’s leading teaching provider in TCM and Acupuncture - the prestigious Northern College of Acupuncture, in York.

​

I'm a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians and British Acupuncture Federation.  I'm fully registered, licensed and inspected by Sunderland Council both as a practitioner and for my clinic premises.

I'm continually furthering my education and research to be as up to date and informed as possible. I have completed significant (100s of hours & thousands of pounds)  CPD courses for fertility and beyond, whilst keeping up with developing western medical research and advances in fertility treatments.

Within life and work, I pride myself on being kind, thoughtful, efficient and being able to deal with most situations we may face working together with good humour and a sense of ease.

 

A little about me beyond the qualifications: I'm a big animal lover, love classic comedy, have a questionable, dry sense of humour and an unhealthy love of random meme references.​​​
